Teaching and Workshops

Hannah`s dance classes and workshops are formed to inspire all ages through the love of movement. Her classes are fully inclusive for all levels. Hannah`s class environment will be completely supportive and a place to feel free to learn. Teaching in contemporary in two levels, beginner and intermediate. With her intensive ballet training Hannah has also set up a special ballet class for advanced ballet students. 

Teaching

Beginners Contemporary-

This class will be 1 hour 30 minutes at £7

Beginner`s contemporary is designed for those with little to no dance experience. This class will start with a full body warm up, then it will progress into the centre for more technical exercises for the whole body focusing on each area. The classes target is to help students in finding the correct body alignment and the fundamental technique for contemporary dance. The class will build up to moving phrases travelling through space. The overall outcome of this class is to teach the basic levels of contemporary technique and to explore their own movement pathways with understanding. 

Intermediate Contemporary- 

This class will be 1 hour 30 minutes at £7

Intermediate contemporary is designed for dance students that are in training or at vocational dance school with the hope of potentially pursuing a career in dance. This class will start with a dynamic full-body high-intensity warm-up following onto exercises in the centre, including varied floor work phrases. Building up to intricate travelling phrases, followed by an encompassing cool down. This class is focusing on the dancer's ability to challenge their individual contemporary dance technique and to feel energised and inspired.

Special Ballet- 

This class will be 1 hour at £6 

Special ballet will be comprised for dancers in a vocational school or are looking at pursuing a career in dance, with strong ballet technique and with a RAD level of at least Intermediate. This class will be focusing on artistry, musicality, and performance. This class will be different every time, with the teacher giving you challenging sequences to practice picking up ballet phrases quickly. The class will follow the set up of a normal ballet class starting with barre or centre barre, moving onto tendu, adage, pirouettes, petit allegro, grande allegro. With the opportunity for dancers to have the opportunity to practice any variations for feedback. This class is formed to challenge you and prepare dancers for auditions in the future.
